Penthol expands base oil sales to include Group I in Europe

Penthol, the exclusive distributor of ADNOC’s Group III base oils in the United States, has expanded its base oils distribution network to include Group I base oils. 

Penthol has started sales of European Group I base oils from storage tanks in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and Ghent, Belgium. The company plans to increase its total storage capacity at these terminals to more than 10,000 tons by the end of this year. These terminals are equipped to load onto trucks and barges. 

Since July 2016, Penthol has been marketing Group III base oils produced by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) based in the United Arab Emirates. Penthol also has been actively supplying Group I and Group II base oils to other regions like South America, Asia-Pacific and South Africa. It also announced plans to start marketing Group II base oils in ARA by the end of the year.

The company has offices in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Houston, Texas, U.S.A.; Geneva, Switzerland; and Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
