Dr. Ping Zhu

Dr. Ping Zhu is Director of Technology for the Lubrizol Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway Company.  In this role, she leads the company’s Asia Pacific technology innovation and in-region capability building to develop and deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions for customers in Asia Pacific, a region with the most diverse market needs in the world.

Ping’s deep lubricant experience spans both technical and commercial in creating and delivering value to customers in industrial, transportation, and future mobility.  She Joined Lubrizol in 1994 as a research chemist at the company’s global headquarters in Wickliffe, Ohio, U.S.A.  She has held several technical commercial roles across the company’s additive business, including R&D, chemical compliance, regional and global product management.  Most recently, she served as North America business manager for driveline additives.  Externally, she served three years on the board of the National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI).
