AXEL, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of lubricating greases in the U.S., with its companies AXEL Americas and AXEL Royal, said it will proceed with its multi-million dollar expansion and improvement plan across its three plants in the U.S.A.

This plant expansion and improvement plan at the company’s ISO-certified facilities comes in response to growing customer demand for its industrial greases and a strong commitment to bringing all AXEL facilities in line with the company’s high global standards for product quality, safety, and the environment.

The investments at AXEL’s facilities include increasing its dedicated calcium sulfonate complex line capacity in Rosedale, Mississippi, through new kettle additions, the installation of two state-of-the-art high-speed cartridge filling lines and several equipment investments and enhanced operational processes to greatly reduce bottlenecks in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Schertz, Texas, facilities. These investments are designed to increase productivity, throughput, and overall capacity and bring the latter two facilities to AXEL standards through quality assurance, safety, and work condition improvements.
