Balmer Lawrie & Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Balmer Lawrie (UK) has formed a 50-50 joint venture (JV) company with PT Imani Wicaksana in Indonesia under the name PT Imani Ganda Utama (PTIGU) to manufacture and market greases and lubricants in Indonesia. The company is a confirming party to the JV, with an interest to expand its operations and scope of business activities relating to lubricants outside India, including Indonesia. Further, the company proposes to enter into a technical collaboration agreement with PTIGU in due course to supply technical information to enable the manufacture of lubricating greases and other lubricants.
