BRB Lube Oil Additives to move office and factory to new site

The construction of the new office and production location for BRB International’s business unit Lube Oil Additives & Chemicals (BRB LAC) officially started last month.

BRB International is a subsidiary of PETRONAS Chemicals Group, one of the largest integrated chemicals producers in Southeast Asia.

The new premises for BRB Lube Oil Additives will be located 12 km south from its current location in Ittervoort. The other BRB business unit Silicones will stay in Ittervoort, the Netherlands.

By operating from two different sites in the Netherlands, BRB’s Lube oil Additives & Chemicals’ growth aspirations can be met. A new designed Petrolad® production installation that meets the market’s latest stringent production and quality requirements will be installed. Furthermore, new coolant storage capacity will be installed to meet the latest EU legislation.

BRB’s business unit Silicones will benefit from the relocation of BRB LAC since it will enable Silicones to further grow the production of specialty emulsions in Ittervoort. Moreover, operating from two different sites will increase the space for operation to create an improved safety situation.

Developer De Boer Vastgoed is establishing the new office, production and warehouse, on behalf of BRB International.
