Rayonier Advanced Materials Announces Dividend on the Company’s Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. (NYSE:RYAM) announced that the Company’s board of directors has declared a second quarter cash dividend of $2.00 per share of Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock of the Company. The dividend is payable on August 15, 2019 to stockholders of record on August 1, 2019.


On August 15, 2019, the Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock will automatically convert to Common Stock of the Company. Based on current Common Stock trading levels, holders of the Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock are expected to receive 7.7459 shares of Common Stock per share of Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock. The Company expects to issue approximately 13.4 million shares of Common Stock, bringing the total number of Common Stock outstanding to approximately 63 million shares.
