Castrol appoints Heike van de Kerkhof as regional vice president for Europe and Africa
Castrol announced the appointment of Heike van de Kerkhof as regional vice president for Europe and Africa. She joins Castrol from The Chemours Company, a new company created in 2015 from the DuPont Performance Chemicals Businesses, where she was the vice president of global sales for Titanium Technologies and president of Chemours International Operations Sàrl.
Van de Kerkhof has had an international career since joining DuPont more than 25 years ago, delivering business growth and leading long-term strategy plans in a variety of regional and global senior sales, marketing and venturing roles. She has also served as a non-executive director of Neste Oil.
Commenting on her new role, van de Kerkhof said: “I’m delighted to join Castrol with its strong brand and sustained record of technology and innovation leadership. I’m also very excited about taking on the challenges faced by the lubricants sector as we move to a lower carbon future.”
