DelliCompagni joins Univar as VP of Global Industrial Solutions

Michael DelliCompagni has joined Univar Solutions Inc., a U.S.-based global chemical and ingredient distributor, as vice president of Global Industrial Solutions, effective March 1, 2022.

In this role, DelliCompagni will lead the company’s sales, marketing and product management efforts across the Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers, and Plastic and Rubber additives, Homecare & Industrial Cleaning, and Lubricants and Metalworking Fluids end markets. He joins the global Ingredients & Specialties leadership team, led by Nick Powell, president of Ingredients & Specialties, and working alongside Matthew Ottaway, senior vice president of Consumer Solutions. 

DelliCompagni brings more than 30 years’ experience in both the distribution and manufacturing of specialty chemicals and ingredients. Prior to this position, he was vice president, Lubricants & Fuels, Home Care and I&L, Industrial Solutions at IMCD US, LLC. Throughout his career he has demonstrated an ability to drive profitable growth, expand market share, and open new markets in the specialty distribution space. 

DelliCompagni holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Kelly Gilroy is VP of Sustainable & Natural Products

Univar Solutions also announced the appointment of Kelly Gilroy as vice president of Sustainable & Natural Products. This new commercial capability will build upon Univar Solutions growing portfolio of in-demand products that address growing consumer and market demands, while more responsibly protecting our environment and communities in support of the company’s Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Goals to 2025.

Gilroy brings nearly three decades of experience across multiple industries where she has consistently led high growth strategies and innovative go-to-market approaches. She joined Univar Solutions in 2014 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently, as vice president, global beauty and personal care. Prior to working at Univar Solutions, Gilroy held marketing and sales leadership roles at The Lubrizol Corporation and Nalco, an Ecolab Company. 

In her new role, Gilroy will be responsible for leading the further development and commercialization of a full range of sustainable and natural ingredients across the entire Univar Solutions portfolio. This new approach will support customers seeking to infuse sustainable and natural ingredient practices and processes into their own product development. Additionally, the program will work closely with Univar Solutions global supplier base in identifying markets and opportunities to launch new and innovative ingredients that meet evolving market, regulatory and societal expectations.
