Dr. Ranjini Murthy to lead Azelis Americas’ digital strategy

Azelis, a leading distributor of specialty raw materials across EMEA, Asia Pacific and Americas, announced that Dr. Ranjini Murthy is joining the company as senior vice president of Commercial and Digital Excellence. In her new role, Murthy will be responsible for leading the digital strategy and commercial excellence programs for Azelis Americas. She will report to U.S. Managing Director Vuk Milojkovic.

Murthy has been a leader in the chemical industry for more than 15 years. She began her career as a patent engineer at a law firm supporting chemical and oilfield clients. Murthy transitioned into the chemical industry working in different technical and commercial roles at Henkel Corporation, Air Products, Wacker, and Stepan Company. During her time at Wacker, she was responsible for global strategy and business development driving growth in new markets. In her most recent role at Stepan, Murthy worked as the business director for the CASE, Gypsum, and Industrial Solutions (Lubricants, insulation, firefighting foams, etc.) businesses with P&L responsibility, driving sustainable growth in existing markets and strategically expanding into new markets.  Murthy has a PhD. in Materials Science and Engineering from Texas A&M University.
