Abstract:

The world is on an unsustainable path. Action is needed.

Today, a quarter of the world’s energy is lost to friction, corrosion and wear. Castrol is stepping up its 120-year fight against it and continuing to develop products and services that help our commercial customers save energy, waste and water.

Castrol also has developed a 360 roadmap for its business that:

  • Embraces circular thinking – looking at the life cycle of every product they make to see how it can be improved, extended, reused or recycled.
  • They are investing in and developing products and services that support the world’s transition to renewable energy and sustainable technologies like lubricants for wind turbines and fluids for e-mobility.

Their main three focus areas:

Saving waste
Continuing to help our commercial customers with their sustainability goals related to energy, waste and water, as well as aiming to halve plastic footprint by 2030.

Reducing carbon
Aiming to halve the net carbon intensity per litre of products by 2030.

Improving people’s lives
Working to improve people’s lives around the world, including through carbon neutral programmes.

Registration fee for ALIA members is free, for non-members, US$50.
