ASCOPE (ASEAN Council of Petroleum) which members consists of 10 ASEAN countries will be organising the 10th ASCOPE Conference & Exhibition 2013 from 28-30 November in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With the theme ”Innovation & Cooperation – The Way Forward” it is a continuity the previous edition. The event is held every four years once and is touted as the only ASEAN oil and gas event that gathers all the 10 National Oil Company in ASEAN where law makers, industrialist, oil and gas players gather together to make significant decision that will change and propel the landscape of the region oil and gas industry.

The event will showcase among others exhibition showcasing exploration and downstream initiative, regional policy, legal and regulatory framework; undertaking joint techno-economics studies; developing a knowledge management system for information exchange; promoting and sharing researchers’ works, new oil field discoveries, environmental protection, the changing and competitive global market, deploying state-of-the-art equipment. During the event, the current issues faced across the ASEAN markets related to the oil and gas industry and ASCOPE upcoming plan will be discussed in the conference. It will certainly provide delegates thought provoking ideas to take away.
