Evonik appoints new regional president for Indian Subcontinent

Vinod Paremal has assumed the position of regional president of the Indian Subcontinent for Evonik Industries AG effective July 1st.  Vinod was appointed to this position after successfully heading Marketing & Sales for Performance Foams in the Business Line High Performance Polymers in Darmstadt, Germany.

For his new assignment Vinod Paremal will move to Mumbai, India, as soon as the Covid-19 situation allows.

Paremal is an industrial engineer and holds an MBA degree from INSEAD, France. His experience at Evonik includes the following business lines: High Performance Polymers, Oil Additives, Care Solutions, Comfort and Insulation, and at the Evonik Corporate Center. Over the last 15 years, he has led marketing, strategic projects, sales and production teams having worked in Germany, Singapore, the UAE and the UK.

In the Indian subcontinent, Evonik is headquartered in Mumbai, India. This cluster caters to India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Evonik has been active in India for four decades via predecessor companies. Today, in addition to the main office in Mumbai, Evonik has three production sites, two research and development centres and eight application technology labs in and around Mumbai.
