ExxonMobil introduces fully synthetic air compressor lubricant
ExxonMobil Corp. has introduced Mobil SHCâ„¢ Rarus, a fully synthetic air compressor lubricant designed for severe duty rotary screw and vane air compressors. Mobil SHC Rarus was formulated with high-performance synthetic base stocks with high viscosity index, which enables a wide temperature range capability and effective lubrication at high temperatures.
Especially well-suited for rotary screw compressors, the Mobil SHC Rarus Series is available in three viscosity grades (32, 46 and 68). Its features include:

- Excellent varnish and sludge control
- High load carrying capability
- Exceptional resistance to rusting and corrosion, very good antiwear, demulsibility, foam control and air release and multi-metal compatibility
