Chevron Oronite to present at the Base Oils and Lubes Middle East Conference 2019

SAN RAMON, Calif., April 1, 2019 – Chevron Oronite announced that it will be presenting at the 8th Base Oil and Lubes Middle East Conference, taking place in Dubai, UAE, on April 10-11, 2019. Patrice Estoueig, product line manager, IEO Specialties, Europe-Africa-Middle East Region, Chevron Oronite SAS, will be giving a presentation on April 10, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. titled: “Why passenger car motor oil is no longer the best choice for four stroke motorcycles?”.

Estoueig will highlight the connection between the evolution of passenger-car and 4-stroke motorcycle oils, as well as the technical trends that have led to the increasing divergence between the two when it comes to oil formulation needs. “I will also explain how the unique features of motorcycle engines call for specific performance from the engine oil and illustrate that a dedicated technology is the way forward to formulate an optimized and differentiated 4-stroke motorcycle engine oil,” he said.

Held alongside the Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference (MPGC), the 8th Base Oil & Lubes Middle East 2019 is the premier dedicated conference of its type. This year’s theme is Managing Change and Identifying Opportunities in an Oversupplied Market.
