Chevron Oronite to present at Base Oil & Lubes Middle East 2017

San Ramon, CA (April 28, 2017) – Chevron Oronite LLC will be presenting at the 6th Annual Base Oil and Lubes Middle East Conference taking place in Dubai, UAE on 3-4 May 2017. Bhaskar Mukherjee, automotive manager, Europe-Africa- Middle East region, Chevron Oronite SAS, will be speaking on 3 May at 3:50 p.m. about “The Lubricant Additives Market in the Middle East – New Trends and Technologies.”

“We will be discussing the attributes of suitable lubricants for fuel efficient heavy-duty diesel engines in the market from 2018 and beyond,” said Mukherjee. “We will do this by reviewing the evolution of EU emission norms and engine technology, and their influence on specifications for fuels and lubricants, as well as their potential penetration in the marketplace.”

The theme of this year’s conference is “The Middle East: A Region in Transition – New Suppliers, New Qualities, New Challenges.” The Base Oil and Lubes Middle East Conference provides knowledge sharing and networking among leading producers, suppliers, manufacturers, refiners, traders, and end-users from 25 countries.
