Chevron Phillips Chemical celebrates 20 years since formation

July 1, 2020, marks the 20th anniversary of Chevron Phillips Chemical, formed when Chevron Corporation and Phillips Petroleum (now Phillips 66) combined their petrochemical operations. As one of the world’s top producers of ethylene and polyethylene, with 31 manufacturing and research centers globally, we produce materials that improve quality of life around the world.

Two decades and nearly USD17 billion in assets later, this video chronicles our growth as a diverse, global enterprise focused on being the employer, supplier, neighbor and investment of choice in the petrochemical industry. Our strategy to grow where feedstocks are abundant and competitively priced and our workforce of nearly 5,000 talented employees have enabled us to compete globally.
