HF Sinclair appoints Jeanne Johns to board, Myers thanks retiring director

HF Sinclair announced two board changes effective February 13th: the appointment of former Incitec Pivot CEO Jeanne Johns as an independent director, and Norman Szydlowski’s upcoming retirement at the 2024 annual meeting after about 2.5 years of service.

“Jeanne brings strong leadership, industry expertise and international perspective that will benefit HF Sinclair,โ€ said Chairman Franklin Myers. Johns led Australian fertilizer and chemical manufacturer Incitec Pivot across the Asia Pacific region for nearly six years through mid-2023.

Myers thanked Szydlowski for his contributions, wishes him well going forward. The moves keep HF Sinclair’s board at 13 directors, with 11 independents.

Incorporated in 2021 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, U.S.A., HF Sinclair is an independent downstream energy company. It operates seven refineries and markets fuels and lubricants across more than 1,500 U.S. branded retail sites and through export. HF Sinclair also produces renewable diesel.
