1 December 2011 – SINGAPORE – Following a review of business operations in Australia, Infineum announce that effective 1st December 2011, the entire share capital of Infineum Australia Pty Ltd (“IAPL”) will be purchased by the IMCD Group.

>From 1st December, transaction of Infineum’s existing and future business in Australia and New Zealand will be made through IMCD Australia Ltd, who will be Infineum’s appointed distributor in Australia and New Zealand.

IMCD Australia also will continue to manage the local logistics services which are an important aspect of customer service in this area.

This change does not in any way imply any lessening of Infineum’s involvement or interest in the Australian additives market, which remains very important. Infineum believes that by working through a well established local distributor who has the capability of supplying a broader range of complementary products, Infineum will be better placed to maintain and improve the service provided to the local markets in Australia and New Zealand.
