Come and meet Infineum at booth #407 at the 29^th CIMAC World Congress, 10-14 June in Vancouver.

Every three years, technical experts and engine users gather at the Congress to discuss the key issues in the marine, power generation and locomotive engine industries. This year’s event is a great opportunity to learn about the research that is helping to create the next generation of engines and state-of-the-art technologies to help ensure a more sustainable, environmentally and economically sound future.

The 2019 Congress programme focuses on the theme Meeting the future of combustion engines and CIMAC has selected over 300 presentations and posters to be presented across the five day event.

As a technology leader in fuels and lubricants, Infineum has been chosen to present on five topics. The first of which will be presented by Jonathan Hughes, Technologist, on Wednesday 12 June, when he’ll be exploring the challenges of developing of new oils for modern gas engines.

On Thursday 13 June, there are four opportunities to hear from Infineum experts, starting with Isabella Goldmints, Technologist, talking about novel multifuel engine oil additive technology formulated to meet often conflicting lubrication requirements of heavy-duty diesel and natural gas engines.

Also on Thursday, Fred Girschick, Technologist, delivers a paper on field experience gained regarding the improvement of precision in fuel economy measurements in railroad service.

As part of the same technical session, Marco Corradi, Global Marine Portfolio Manager, discusses the demands that evolving emission legislation, technology advancements and consumer requirements place on the performance of marine lubricants and the importance of careful additive selection.

And in the exhibition hall on Thursday, a poster developed by Alex Coxon, Technologist, discusses the importance of eliminating reprotoxicity of marine diesel cyclinder lubricants, without compromising performance.
