NAFA Foundation announces leading-edge mobility webinar and white paper for guiding fleet professionals into fast-moving industry changes

International mobility expert Lukas Neckermann to present detailed insight

PRINCETON, N.J. – (September 10, 2018) – The NAFA Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable organization formed in 1976 to advance the vehicle fleet/mobility management profession, is presenting a unique webinar on September 27, with international mobility expert Lukas Neckermann outlining how fleet professionals should effectively prepare for the “mobility” revolution.

The webinar accompanies a new white paper on this topic, The Mobility Revolution: A Primer for Fleet Managers, that will focus on the four key mobility trends in the automotive industry, recent developments in associated areas including electrification, and how these developments will impact fleets as they incorporate a greater mobility focus.

Presented by Neckermann, Managing Director at Neckermann Strategic Advisors, a consultancy based in London with a focus on emerging new mobility trends and their strategic impact, the whitepaper keys in on four major mobility trends – described by the acronym CASE– that are converging and driving automotive and associated industries toward a transformation: Connectivity, Automation, Sharing, and Electrification. Both the webinar and the white paper will be free to all with no membership requirements.

The materials have extensive insight, including:

  • The convergence of autonomous technologies and vehicle sharing
  • The present stage of mobility’s transformation in North America and the globe
  • The importance of vehicle electrification in mobility advancement
  • The impact these will have on the work of fleet professionals
  • What fleet must do to prepare for inevitable changes

“Fleet professionals are more frequently becoming ‘mobility’ professionals, or are incorporating ‘mobility’ elements into their activities at a growing rate. The NAFA Foundation is guiding them to remain on the forward edge, providing this well-timed webinar and white paper that will aid many in the industry,” said NAFA Foundation Chief Executive Officer Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “These tools are part of an ambitious slate of near-term initiatives for the NAFA Foundation, which were launched during NAFA’s annual conference in April 2018 to create independent research providing guidance to the fleet professional.”

Registration for this free webinar is now open at www.nafa.org/MobilityRevolution.

Attendees will find out what companies are doing today and how fleet managers should prepare to become mobility managers. Each webinar attendee will receive a free copy of the white paper immediately following the webinar.
