Russia’s base oils & lubricants market: growth trends
For the eighth consecutive year, producers of base oils, lubricants and additives, OEMs and end-users from Russia & the CIS will meet on May 20 – 21, 2020, at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Moscow. Rosneft – Lubricants is the event Lead Partner. Companies will discuss current challenges and focus on improving services and the growing importance of OEM & end-users on the market.
Local consultancy company B2X stated at the CIS Base Oils & Lubricants conference in May 2019 that lubricants production had increased by 3% to 2.5 million tons. Global lubricants demand statistics show that Russia is now the largest European market and ranks fifth in the world.
Sergey Sidorov, Senior Consultant at Kline Group, mentioned in his presentation that “demand for high-quality basestocks will grow in Russia as the market shifts towards better quality lubricants.”
The key themes for the 2020 conference are new quality standards, new testing methods and new approaches to service.
The conference serves as a traditional gathering for regional stakeholders in the base oils & lubricants industry. Registration is open.
