Sea-Land Chemical promotes Mauricio Galvez to vice president

Sea-Land Chemical Company, a leading international chemical distributor of specialty chemicals for the lubricants industry and household, industrial and institutional cleaning markets, has promoted Mauricio Galvez to vice president of Business Development. 

Galvez’s promotion formalizes the increased role business development is taking within Sea-Land Chemical. The expansion of his responsibilities and creation of an internal team puts a focus on strategic growth opportunities. Galvez is responsible for leading the expansion of Sea-Land’s supplier and customer network in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.

Galvez has more than 10 years of experience at Sea-Land Chemical in increasing roles of responsibility. He has 19 years of experience in the specialty chemical distribution industry. At Sea-Land Chemical, he began his career as an account manager and was promoted to director of Sales for North Region U.S.A., Canada and Mexico. 

Galvez earned a Bachelor of Arts from York University in Toronto, Canada.
