SIP Speciality Oils and Fluids, based in London, UK, announced a long-term distribution partnership with Germany’s KRAHN Chemie Group, to broaden its footprint in the European market.
Under the agreement KRAHN will distribute SIP’s base oils in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and through its subsidiaries in Greece, Cyprus and Israel.
“KRAHN has a century-long footprint in Europe’s heartland which is an excellent fit for SIP’s long-term growth strategy. We look forward to providing customers in Europe with our high-quality premium industrial base oils leveraging the first-rate reputation of our new partner, KRAHN Chemie,” said Tobias Tasche, SIP managing director.

This is a great platform for growth, and we look forward to achieving great success in the European market together,” said Bjoern Maring, director and business segment manager, Lubricants, KRAHN Chemie.
“KRAHN is delighted to have reached this agreement with SIP. We see an increasing interest from our customers in specialty and premium base oils.
