RECOGNISING EXCELLENCE: F&L ASIA AWARDS TO BE PRESENTED ON MARCH 8, 2018

As an industry, we face an indefinite and ever-changing business landscape. We are fortunate to be blessed with smart and creative people and teams who dazzle us with new ideas on how to move our complex industry forward. The F&L Asia Awards are a highlight of F+L Week 2018, the preeminent fuels, lubricants, additives and base oils conference in Asia, and an opportunity to honor positive contributions from the best and the brightest talent in our industry.

The “Product Development of The Year” recognizes innovation in the Fuels & Lubricants industry, as we strive for improved efficiencies and sustainability. Chevron Oronite OLOA® 55516 was commemorated as 2017 “Product Development of the Year”, the first lubricant additive package in the industry to be approved for dexos1®:2015 by General Motors (GM). This technology is recommended for GM Factory Fill and Service Fill gasoline engine oil specifications beginning with 2017-2018 model year vehicles.

Nominations for the 2018 F&L Asia Awards close on December 31, 2017, and are limited to products new to the market as of January 1, 2017. Entries may include either a consumer or intermediate product.

The “Asia-Pacific F+L Person of the year” recognizes an individual’s outstanding contribution to the Fuels & Lubricants industry in Asia. Nominees may come from the oil and additive industries or other stakeholders such as OEMs, user-industries, regulatory agencies and even non-governmental organizations.

Last year, Trevor Russell, Chief Executive Officer of Infineum, was acknowledged for his leadership role in expanding manufacturing and supply capability for additives in the Asia-Pacific region. Who will it be this year?

Winners will be selected by F+L Week’s independent advisory board with award recipients formally recognized during the F&L Asia Awards dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Macao on March 8, 2018.
