Gazprom Neft produces marine lubes compatible with low-sulphur fuels
Russia’s JSC Gazprom Neft has started producing lubricants for marine engines running on environmentally friendly fuel. These products were launched within the framework of the company’s strategic partnership with Chevron Marine Lubricants.
The Omsk and Moscow lubricant plants now manufacture the low-alkaline Texaco Taro Special HT LS 40 and Taro 20 DP 30/Taro 20 DP 40 oils specially developed for engines running on low-sulphur fuels.
“We have always emphasized that the lower environmental impact is one of the key priorities in our product range development efforts. We place emphasis on the production of high-tech lubricants meeting modern environmental and industrial requirements,” said Alexander Trukhan, CEO of Gazpromneft Lubricants.
JSC Gazprom Neft is the fifth largest oil producer in the Russian Federation.
