Gulf Oil Lubricants appoints Abhijit Kulkarni as chief commercial officer

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited has announced the appointment of Abhijit Kulkarni as chief commercial officer (CCO) and a member of its Senior Management Personnel (SMP) team, effective immediately. Kulkarni’s extensive background in strategy, business operations, and P&L management is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s future growth and operational success.  

In his 22-year career, Kulkarni has held leadership roles in prominent multinational companies. Most recently, he served as cluster general manager and innovation head for Southeast Asia at Unilever Thailand. Prior to that, he held strategic roles at Castrol India Limited and Coca-Cola, gaining experience across consumer marketing, manufacturing, and organisational development in the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) sector.  

Kulkarni holds a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) and a Master’s in Management Studies (Marketing) from Symbiosis Institute, Pune.  

Gulf Oil Lubricants India believes Kulkarni’s leadership will enhance its efforts to expand market presence and drive innovative business solutions.  

This appointment was disclosed in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
