Gulf Oil to supply EV fluids to Piaggio and Switch Mobility

Gulf Oil Lubricants, which is part of the Hinduja Group and headquartered in Mumbai, India, announced an exclusive partnership with Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL), the leader in India’s three-wheeler cargo vehicle segment, and Switch Mobility, a subsidiary of Indian company Ashok Leyland, for a special range of electric vehicle (EV) fluids.

Gulf Oil introduced its wide range of EV fluids in September 2021, offering specially formulated products such as Gulf Formula Hybrid for EVs and hybrid vehicles as well as Gulf eLEC Coolant, Gulf eLEC Driveline Fluid, and Gulf eLEC Brake Fluid. 

The launch of their partnership was graced with the presence of Gulf Oil Chairman Sanjay Hinduja, and ace cricketer and brand ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni. 

Through this partnership, Piaggio Vehicles and Switch Mobility will have direct access to the complete range of EV fluids under Gulf Oil’s portfolio. These EV fluids will be used by Piaggio’s EV passenger and cargo variants and Switch Mobility’s EV variants like Switch EiV 12 and Switch EiV 22 exclusively.
