HCS Group and Neste to form an extensive partnership for renewable distillates

The HCS Group (Haltermann Carless Solutions), a leading global manufacturer of high-quality hydrocarbon and chemical specialty products, and Finlandโ€™s Neste, the world’s leading producer of premium-quality renewable fuels, are establishing a preferred partnership for renewable distillate products.

Using its patented NEXBTL technology, Neste will supply Haltermann Carless with renewable components, which will be further processed into new, customised bio-products for various industrial applications. Renewable distillates can be used in various applications such as metalworking fluids, paints, coatings, printing inks, lubricants, water treatment, detergents, hydraulics, and cosmetics.

โ€œThe HCS Group considers chemical products based on renewable feedstocks as a key enabler for true sustainability. Bio-based solutions originating from renewable distillates powerfully solve existing and upcoming challenges that the chemical industry is facing. We are excited to be expanding our solutions portfolio in collaboration with a dedicated partner like Neste,โ€ says Uwe Nickel, CEO of the HCS Group.

The HCS Group is organised with an executive committee overseeing seven business lines: Automotive Products, Middle Distillates, Oil & Gas Products, Pentanes, Performance Fuels, Performance Solvents and Speciality Aromatics. Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, HCS Group belongs to H.I.G. Europe, a subsidiary of the U.S. private equity company, H.I.G. Capital.
