Ingevity expands lubricants distribution networks in Europe

Ingevity announced the expansion of its lubricants distribution partnerships with Carroux GmbH and Sea-Land Chemical Company in the European market. Both distributors will leverage their global technical sales and marketing networks in Europe to maximize the sales of Ingevity’s lubricant products.

Carroux, currently a distributor of Ingevity’s lubricants products in Germany, will expand its sales into Eastern European countries. Sea-Land, currently a distributor for Ingevity’s lubricants business in the U.S., will now also sell products in Western Europe.

Effective 1 October 2019, this agreement will increase the availability of Ingevity’s Diacid 1550™, Altapyne® L-1, Altapyne L-5 and Altapyne D 25-30 products.

“Growing our partnership with these distributors strengthens our commitment to providing value-added products and innovation to our customers,” said Shana McCabe, global business director, lubricants, Ingevity. “We believe both companies will help expand Ingevity’s footprint across the dynamic European lubricants market by utilizing their diverse customer networks.”

“Ingevity has been a valued partner of Carroux for years and we look forward to increasing the availability of Ingevity’s quality products to our Eastern European customers,” said Helmut-Matthias Wilksch, managing director, Carroux.

“We are thrilled to expand our strong relationship with Ingevity in North America to the Western European lubricants market,” said Craig Lundell, senior vice president, commercial operations and Europe, Sea-Land. “Ingevity possesses a strong portfolio of specialty chemistries for the lubricants industry and we are well-positioned to promote these technologies to our customers throughout Europe.”
