IOC unveils high-performance alternative to lithium-based grease

Indian Oil Corp. (IOC) has unveiled SERVO fully synthetic four-stroke (4T) engine oil for motorbikes and a high-performance alternative to lithium-based grease.

SERVO Brand Ambassador and popular Indian movie star, John Abraham, launched SERVO Hypersport F5 fully synthetic 4T Engine Oil for motorcycles at a function held in New Delhi, India on June 5.

These new products were unveiled in the presence of S.M. Vaidya, IOC chairman, board members, senior IOC officers, channel partners and customers.

Dr. SSV Ramakumar, IOC director (Research & Development), said that SERVO Hypersport F5 meets the world’s highest performance standards. It is suitable for all types of motorcycles, including the latest models meeting BS VI-2 (OBD) regulations and mid-to-high displacement bikes.

Ramakumar also noted that SERVO Grease Miracle, developed with indigenously available raw material and chemistry, will reduce India’s dependence on lithium, which is currently experiencing high demand from the electric vehicle industry.

SERVO, India’s leading lubricant brand, was launched by IOC in 1972. The SERVO brand showcases India’s indigenous efforts in the petroleum sector, formulated at IOC’s R&D Centre in Faridabad, India.
