Kixx claims top lubricant brand in South Korea for 8th year

For the eighth year running, Kixx has triumphed at the Korea First Brand Awards 2024, securing the top spot in the lubricant category. This consistent recognition reflects Kixx’s unwavering commitment to quality and consumer satisfaction.

GS Caltex, the parent company of Kixx, has more than half a century of expertise in oil refining and technological innovation. Launched in 2005, Kixx has established itself as a trustworthy brand, leveraging advanced technology and state-of-the-art production facilities in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, in South Korea. The brand offers a diverse range of more than 180 lubricants, catering to various industrial and automotive needs, including heavy-duty diesel engine oil and gasoline engine oil.

The Korea First Brand Awards, administered by the Customers Council, gauge public preference through surveys conducted online and via phone or mobile devices. The results consistently place Kixx at the forefront of the Korean lubricant market.

Kixx’s commitment to sustainability resonates in its product line, which includes Kixx EV for electric vehicles, Kixx Hybrid for hybrid vehicles, and the plant-based engine oil “Kixx BIO 1”. In a step towards environmental responsibility, Kixx introduced biodegradable chainsaw oil products and redesigned its 1-litre containers, using 20% recycled plastics and reducing plastic use by 30%.

Recently, Kixx launched Kixx Immersion Fluid S, an innovative cooling solution for data centres, and the “Kixx Tutorial” video series, providing valuable insights into engine maintenance for vehicle owners.

Looking ahead to 2024, Kixx plans to introduce new products, responding to market shifts and reinforcing its position as Korea’s leading lubricant brand.
