Bridgestone America Tires Operations (BATO) said it is expanding its line of fuel efficient Ecopia EP422 tires from five to 29 sizes this year. The product line will be expanded to a full power line of 15” to 18” tires for cars such as the Toyota Prius, Lexus ES, Chevy Malibu, Nissan Altima and the Honda Odyssey mini-van. Larry Magee, president of consumer tire for the U.S. and Canada, said, “The Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 is a great option for consumers looking for an all-season tire that offers low rolling resistance without sacrificing the performance people have come to expect from a Bridgestone tire.” (July 1, 2011)
