ExxonMobil Malaysia appoints new chairman

ExxonMobil Corp. announced that Hugh W.A. Thompson has been appointed chairman of the ExxonMobil Subsidiaries in Malaysia. Thompson replaces Liam M. Mallon, who has been named vice-president (engineering) of ExxonMobil Production Company based in Houston, Texas. Thompson has also been appointed to the boards of directors of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc., Esso Malaysia Bhd, ExxonMobil Borneo Sdn Bhd, ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd and ExxonMobil Services (Labuan) Ltd.
