GM Daewoo launches new sub-midsize sedan
GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co., the South Korean unit of General Motors Co., launched a new sub-midsize sedan in its home market to meet increased demand for fuel-efficient cars. Rick LaBelle, GM Daewoo vice president of vehicle sales, service and marketing, said the Lacetti Premiere ID will strengthen GM Daewoo’s compact sedan line-up. The Lacetti Premiere ID models with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine and a six-speed automatic transmission will cost between 16.1 million-18.5 million won (US$13,570-US$15,593).(September 22, 2009)
