Mahindra & Mahindra unveils XUV500
The much anticipated Mahindra XUV500 was unveiled in Pune by the manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M). Completely developed in-house, it is the first product of the company’s global sport utility vehicle (SUV) platform. The new vehicle is now available in three variants in select places in India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai. The XUV500 sells for Rs10.8 lakh (US$21,880) for the W6 model, Rs11.95 lakh (US$24,209) for the W8 2 wheel drive (2WD) model and Rs12.88 lakh (US$26,094) for the W8 All-wheel drive (AWD) model.
