New passenger auto brand to enter Vietnam

Taiwan-based automaker LUXGEN is weighing a plan to enter the Vietnamese market. K.C. Hu, president of LUXGEN said that the company’s participation in the International Means of Transport and Automobiles and Petroleum Show in Ho Chi Minh City was meant to survey the market and to look for distributors. He said that his company had been working with local partners to sell LUXGEN vehicles in Vietnam this year. (June 24, 2010)
