PetroVietnam expects revenues of VND195.513 trillion

State-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) expects to earn revenues of VND195.513 trillion (US$10.31 billion) and pay taxes of VND55.256 trillion (US$2.91 billion) in the second half of this year, up 13.95% and 8.64% versus the period targets. The group estimates its oil equivalent output at 11.73 million tons in the second half, PetroVietnam said in its website. The firm expects to produce 7.8 million tons of crude oil and 3.93 billion cubic meters of natural gas for the rest of 2010. In the first half of this year, PetroVietnam estimates to produce 11.85 million tons of oil equivalent from 7.2 million tons of crude oil and 4.65 billion cubic meters of natural gas, earn revenues of VND205.82 trillion (US$10.85 billion) and pay taxes of VND55.455 trillion (US$2.92 billion).
