Russia to lift export duties for Kyrgyzstan

Russia intends to lift export duties on fuels and lubricants for Kyrgyzstan starting January 2011,  Kyrgyz Prime Minister Almazbek Atambayev said.Russia has not shipped fuels and lubricants to Kyrgyzstan since April 1, 2010, after the Russian Federal Customs Service started levying a 100% export duty. Russia imposed the duty because Kyrgyzstan had re-sold this fuel to a third party. (December 29, 2010)
