Shell revamps LubeAnalyst oil program

The Shell LubeAnalyst oil analysis program has been revised by Shell Lubricants. The program allows customers to check their vehicle equipment to reduce maintenance costs. The system is an oil and equipment condition monitoring oil analysis (OCM/ECM based oil analysis). The new system allows online users to check a worldwide sample history and failure trends on different types of engines and equipment. Users can register their vehicles, track samples and view reports online. Through the use of sample kits, consumers can have trained staff members analyze the results of samples of their carโ€™s oil, etc. and learn whether any contaminants are getting into their oil. Donald Anderson, country head of lubricants, Shell India Markets said, “Being the global market share leader in lubricants we believe in providing products with the state-of- the-art technologies to ensure trouble-free vehicle operation. With the system being accessible online, LubeAnalyst is one of the most effective methods to avoid equipment damage and extend the life of your lubricant. It is an integrated system to cater to the end- to-end oil condition monitoring service enabling easy and quick access to sample test data to the diverse set of users.” Shell Lubricants India is a 100% subsidiary of Shell.
