Suzuki plans to produce smaller and cheaper Alto in Thailand

Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will produce the next-generation Alto at its Rayong plant in Thailand. The Bangkok Post reported that the A-segment car will be smaller and cheaper than the B-segment Swift. The new Alto is scheduled for launching in 2014, with an entry price of about THB300,000 (US$9,723). (April 18, 2012)
