World Health Energy Holdings to build 250-acre commercial algae farm
World Health Energy Holdings announced that it has signed a letter of intent to build a 250-acre commercial algae farm in Karnataka, India, in a joint venture with SHK Energy Projects. The algae farm will produce fish feed and algal oil. Initially, the project will begin with a 2.5 acre algae farm which will use the GB3000, an Algae Enhancement Technology used to produce rapidly growing algae. This letter of intent is in addition to the additional projects already announced with Prakash Anthony and David Lobo last year to install a 250-acre commercial farm on the premises located in the Ramanagara District of Karnataka, India to produce algae. The second project is with David Lobo from Deejay Coconut Farm PVT to build a 250-acre commercial algae farm in Bangalore, India. (March 15, 2011)
