Yangshan to boost storage capacity
China’s Yangshan Shengang International Oil Logistics Co. Ltd., an oil storage terminal in the eastern part of the Shanghai Yangshan Deepwater Port Area, plans to build 600,000 cubic meters of additional capacity by the second half of 2010, a senior company official said. Currently, Yangshan has a storage capacity of 420,000 cubic meters for crude and oil products, including fuel oil. The expansion will bring total capacity to 1.02 million cubic meters.”We are doing some preparation work like land leveling now, and will start the construction work as soon as we get the government’s approval,” said the official.
