Komatsu, in partnership with Shell Lubricants India, launches reformulated diesel engine oil

Shell Lubricants India, in partnership with Japanese construction and mining equipment manufacturer Komatsu, has launched a reformulated diesel engine oil, Komatsu Genuine oil SAE 15W-40. The new oil formulation meets the requirements of API CI-4 and JASO DH1, in addition to a wide range of industry and OEM specifications. The product unveiling was held at a recent event in Nagpur, India.

The specially developed diesel engine oil will ensure that Komatsu’s construction and mining range of equipment are taken care of in the best way possible and deliver optimal performance.

This in turn broadens our understanding of future operational and equipment challenges, to provide technology solutions in developing advanced oils, which help customers get a competitive edge.
