KRAHN Chemie signs new distribution agreement with Shrieve

KRAHN Chemie, the independent chemicals distributor based in Hamburg, Germany, and Shrieve Chemical, a leading value-added marketer of industrial chemicals and specialty lubricants based in The Woodlands, Texas, U.S.A., have signed a new distribution agreement effective April 3, 2023.

With this agreement, KRAHN will be principal distribution partner of the Shrieve specialty products such as HVAC&R compressor lubricants, polyalkylene glycol base fluids and fuel additives across Europe and Israel. 

“Shrieve has worked with the KRAHN team for over 16 years, and this long-standing relationship has allowed us to see for ourselves the exemplary customer-first approach KRAHN adopts; an approach that mirrors our own company values. The partnership will allow us to expand our specialty products to new and existing territories, better serving our customers with the deep KRAHN knowledge of local markets and sales teams,” said Mark Burnett, Shrieve general manager, EMEA Region.

“KRAHN is excited to have the opportunity to expand the speciality products business across the whole of Europe and Israel. Our dedicated technical sales teams in our local markets and Pan-European supply-chain infrastructure will help to enhance the existing footprint of Shrieve whilst bringing the speciality products closer to our customers,” said Andrew Lamb, head of Lubricants Business at KRAHN.

Both companies already worked closely together offering specialty chemicals to the lubricant markets in Italy. This new agreement expands their long standing cooperation across the whole of Europe and Israel.
