LIQUI MOLY Australia appoints Prinzing as managing director

LIQUI MOLY Australia Pty Ltd announced that Vincent Prinzing will take over as managing director effective immediately. Prinzing succeeds Mark Johnson, who has led LIQUI MOLY Australia since its establishment. Johnson is leaving the company at his own request, the parent company LIQUI MOLY GmbH said in a statement.

Prinzing has been with LIQUI MOLY for 10 years and was most recently responsible for LIQUI MOLYโ€™s lubricants business in Australia, New Zealand and many Asian countries.

The 37-year-old will soon move from Germany, where he was based, to Sydney, Australia.

“I’m very much looking forward to the challenge of advancing our brand in Australia and expanding our product portfolio. I’m confident that I will meet all our customers’ needs with our growing LIQUI MOLY team on site,” said Prinzing.

While LIQUI MOLY works with independent importers in most countries, Australia is one of the few countries in which the company is represented by its own subsidiary. LIQUI MOLY Australia was founded in 2020. LIQUI MOLY offers motor oils and additives made in Germany, but also other lubricants and chemical aids for workshops and car owners. The brand is not only represented in Formula 1 and MotoGP, but is also the name sponsor of LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour.

“He has been doing an excellent job for years, has a good feel for markets and brand development, and also has strong negotiating skills. He’s taking over a well-established team in Australia, with whom he will tackle the market in LIQUI MOLY style,” said Gรผnter Hiermaier, managing director of LIQUI MOLY GmbH, a lubricant manufacturer  based in Ulm, Germany.
