Gazprom Neft acquires lubricant producing facility in Moscow

Gazprom Neft Lubricants Italia recently acquired CJSC NK Selekt, which owns a lubricant-producing facility in Fryazino, Moscow Oblast. The new acquisition has been renamed Gazprom Neft Moscow Lubricants Plant (Gaprom Neft MLP).The Fryazino plant has an annual production capacity of more than 40,000 tons of package products which includes motor oils, industrial lubricants, transmission and technical fluids. Anthony Cherner, Gazprom Neft’s deputy CEO for Logistics, Processing and Sales said, “Gazprom Neft’s market position in the Russian lubricants market will be strengthened a lot by developing a new production base in the European part of Russia, as well as enhancing the company’s activity in Western Siberia.” (November 16, 2011)
