Process Oils acquires MOGoil, boosting global base oil distribution

Process Oils, Inc., a subsidiary of Ergon, has announced the acquisition of MOGoil GmbH, a leading base oil trader in Europe. The purchase, which took effect on August 1, 2023, positions MOGoil for a more sustainable future as a leader in international base oil distribution.

Since 2006, MOGoil has been serving customers in Europe and beyond, providing optimal base oil solutions from a global network of long-term supply partners. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Process Oils, MOGoil is now better equipped to meet global market needs on a larger scale.

Founded in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. in 1979 as Chemical Marketing Associates Inc., Process Oils was purchased by Ergon in 2015. The company has a core business built around the technical marketing of base oil and process oil products, along with green solutions such as vegetable and bio-oils.
