Pertamina Lubricants to start full production at new lube blending plant by mid-year

PT Pertamina Lubricants, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina, will focus on completing the construction of its new plant located in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, according to Andria Nusa, sales and marketing director. The plant, which was inaugurated at the end of last year, has not yet reached full production. “It will start full production by mid-year,” Nusa told local media.ย The lube blending facility will have an annual production capacity of 270,000 kilolitres.

This year, Pertamina Lubricants aims to boost sales by 5%. The company sold 450 million litres of lubricants last year. Pertamina Lubricants has business units in 17 countries.

The company said it will invest IDR 860 billion (USD 64.3 million) to expand its business operations.
