Petro-7 launches lubricant product line in Mexico

Petro-7, which is owned by retailer 7-Eleven, has launched its own branded lubricant product line in Mexico. The company operates 221 service stations nationwide.

Petro-7 claims to be the first fuel distributor to introduce its own brand of lubricants, following Mexico’s reform of its energy sector that brought a number of new players in the fuel retail market including British oil major BP and U.S. oil major ExxonMobil.

The range of Petro-7’s lubricant products includes Petro-7 High Mileage Oil for extended drain and Petro-7 Super Racing Oil for high performance and wear reduction.

The products have been available at Petro-7’s service stations across Mexico since 1st of July.

Luz Maria Gutierrez, Petro-7 operations director, emphasised that the firm offers the best service experience and will continue to provide innovative products and services.
