PetroChina has accelerated construction of its oil products reserve, a move which will strengthen the company’s fuel supply capacity. The company has begun construction of its Huangjinfu oil products storage tanks in Yugan county of China’s central Jiangxi province, which will have a storage capacity of 300 million cubic meters. PetroChina has meanwhile put into operation its new commercial fuel reserves in northeast China’s coastal city of Dalian, parent company CNPC said on its website. The Dalian reserve base has a total capacity of 240,000 cubic meters. (February 7, 2010)
